Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership is pleased to welcome Zachariah Germaniuk, J.D. who will present the ins and outs of the foreclosure process and how a home becomes a “bank walkaway.” He will share important information on the nuances of state law that can be used by community groups and local governments to help change the situation for the better. Zachariah is a  graduate of Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State and has presented on this topic at Cleveland State and Yale University.

We are also excited to be joined by Leah Ifft of Empowering and Strengthening Ohio’s People (ESOP). Leah is a veteran foreclosure prevention advocate. She will discuss the loan modification process, Restoring Stability Assistance, and services available through  ESOP.

Trumbull County Land Bank staff will be on hand to answer questions about bank walkaways in our area. This event is free and open to the public!
