Buddy can you spare a wall?

Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership is looking for a nice smooth wall in a very visible location where they can paint a community-friendly mural; something like the one they put up last year on Elm Road near High Street (right). This almost certainly means some sort of commercial building — unless you know someone with a Frank Lloyd Wright concrete box house in the area.

You wouldn’t think this would be a tough sell since it costs the building owner nothing and the building gets an esthetic upgrade, but they’ve been turned down twelve times already — including the convenience store on East Market between Charles and Logan (which has more graffiti on it than the Latin King’s club house) and the backside of CashLand at Elm and Atlantic (because “corporate HQ” in Dead-End, TX won’t return a phone call)!

So, do you know anyplace that might fill the bill? Remember – they need a nice painting surface in a high-traffic area. TNP has a budget, an artist and is ready to rock ‘n roll. Call Matt at 330-599-9275 or leave a comment here.

  1. Josh Nativio says:

Considering the graffiti on the back of that convenience store seems to be a giant blue penis, perhaps the city needs to step in and smooth a path for them to allow this project on their back wall.

  2. Got one for you, offered to the city before, but never heard anything. Laird n Youngstown rd n Warren blvd, by the new bike trail.

    • Can you provide the name of the building or the address to further identify it? Thanks very much.
